Theatre Wedding Photography at Birnham Theatre
It has to be said that July has been a spanking month. A trip to Portsmouth for Catherine and Richard’s Naval wedding and a tip to Scotland to cover Chloe and Matthew’s theatre wedding photography. Two utterly amazing days, at opposite ends of the country and nearly completely different weddings.
I left family behind for this one, traveled up on the Friday before, and met Chloe and Matthew for the first time having only skype chatted previously. Straight off I knew this was going to be a cracker, but just how good it was going to be I had no clue. Birnham is a small town on the banks of the Tay. I said a few hello’s to close family and friends the night before and spent a few minutes doing a little pre wedding shoot with the pair before retiring to my BnB for the night.
Saturday came and Scotland felt like southern Europe, the word ‘humid’ didn’t do it justice! I had a short time with Matthew and his brother in the morning before heading over to Chloe, and that’s when I knew that this day was going to be more than just a little bit fun. I’ve never cried with so much joy as I have for these two. Every time I run through the sequence of Chloe walking to meet her husband to be brings tears to my eyes. These two are not the tallest people you are likely to meet (note hobbit references half way down), but they have got the biggest hearts to share, and to love, that you will ever meet.
I’ve seen a few theatre wedding photography blogs, but I’m proud of myself because this one is a Killer! Get a hanky ready and scroll on down to enjoy crying, laughing, kissing, singing and sooooooooo much dancing.
