Lauren & Andy

Sutton Bonington Hall Wedding Photography

This is the second time I’ve been to Sutton Bonington Hall to photograph a wedding, it is a simply fantastic exclusive wedding venue. This was one of those classic english weddings, hot summer sun, with flowing champagne, groomsmen in morning coats with tails and waistcoats, pretty bridesmaids, delicious canapés and a packed dance floor in the evening (more of that to come). The day began with both bridal and groom preparations at EMA Yew Lodge Hotel in Kegworth. After a relaxed morning of wonderful pre celebration interactions, I packed my cameras and made my way to the church where Andy’s mother is the Vicar. A wonderful Church of England service and a marriage certificate signed we headed over to the beautiful brick built former home of the Paget Family in the glorious civil parish of Sutton Bonington in the valley of The River Soar. With Bagpipes for the arrival, lawn games for fun, a wedding breakfast fit for royalty, speeches with all the laughter and tears of joy you could wish for and a bouquet toss for amusement, there was a feast of great moments for my photographic skills to document.

“Wow – the photos are absolutely stunning! Lauren and I really cannot put into words what a fantastic job you have done. You have caught not only some amazing moments, but you’ve also managed to capture the personalities of every single guest of the day. You’ve given us some truly brilliant memories to keep with us for the rest of our lives. Thank you!”

This is where I’m going to mention a bit more about David & Anthony at Bliss Wedding DJ. I’ve been to plenty of weddings now (no kidding right!), and in all too many cases the evening dies after the first dance. Don’t just book a Wedding DJ, book these guys, then add on their ‘Master of Ceremony and Tom Foolery’ package. David makes a fantastic Master of Ceremonies/Toastmaster, I don think Ive ever seen quite so much humour as well as sensitivity injected to introducing speeches. Just about the time when this wedding could have settled down in to a quiet sit around the table drinking kind of evening, the crowd gets rallied, the Tom Foolery Box opens up, and boom!!

I’d love to help capture your special moment. Get in touch now
