When you’re planning a wedding in the heart of a city, you want a images that are not only about the romance and magic of the occasion but also the vibrant energy and urban charm that the city offers. That’s what I got when I photographed Luke and James’ wedding at Yellow Arch Studios A double layer of excitement with an lgbtqia+ wedding in a vibrant location at the heart of Sheffield!
Located in the heart of Sheffield, Yellow Arch Studios is a wedding venue that combines industrial charm with modern creativity. It is set in a former warehouse and retains many of its original features, including exposed brick walls, high ceilings, and spacious interiors. This gives the venue a raw, authentic vibe that works perfectly for everything from weddings to art exhibitions and live music events.
For couples looking for a unique and creative wedding location, Yellow Arch Studios offers a blend of rustic charm and modern elegance. Its distinctive industrial backdrop provides an unforgettable setting for wedding photography, combining the old-world charm of the building’s architecture with a contemporary touch. The exposed brickwork and large windows allow for natural light to flood the space, adding a natural, timeless appeal to wedding portraits. As a photographer it’s a real treat to use structural and industrial backgrounds rather than the stereotypical country house landscape. For me though it’s a party venue, a perfect place to get all your family and friends together for a fantastic celebration of your love for one another.
